Last summer, we knew Mr. David Ransom, owner of his company “The Ransom Group“, located in Ohio.
We had the first contact through a video conversation via Skype, in which one of our interior designers, Antonio Consorti, has personally heard and considered Mr. Ransom requirements.

He needed an Italian desk for his new office, so Antonio, provided him all details with the help of drawings and images sent via Skype. In this way the customer could better consider and explain his choice and needs.

After this study, we proposed him a new line Athos by IVM, a mix of elegant finishes, innovative materials and trendy technical details.
Then, to help Mr. Ransom to find the right combination between the floor and the new furniture, we sent him different finishes samples so that he confirmed us his favourite combination for the desk: Olmo Tortora with Primofiore Tortora.

This experience, has been very exciting because, thanks to the new means of communication, it has been possible to provide to the customer the best of our services, and assist him in all his choices.

Recently we got in touch with an Iranian architect from Tehran, we studied together the suitable office furniture for his customer.

He needed for an executive desk in wood with a modern design.
The architect was directed towards a strong and clean line: the CX executive desk by Frezza.
We provided the rectangular desk in Elm with aluminum profiles.

La Mercanti followed also the packing and door to door delivery to Tehran, as always.

5 years since the realisation of the workshop the ISKO Srl, the world’s number one producer of premium quality denim, will again entrust La Mercanti to create a new showroom for the exhibition of products and the reception of national and international clients.

Always under the design supervision of the study Arch Plan, headed by architect Marco Bollettini, the client’s objective was to create an environment supporting the existent workshop.

So it has been realized an open space communicating with the workshop on the first floor and on the basement where there are the shelving and the archive of the clothes.
In the layout has been planned a workstation for the showroom manager, a meeting table for welcoming customers, a lounge area with ottomans and finally display elements such as shelves and display cases.

The attraction is certainly the central swivel clothes stand, handmade and named by the architect “ISKO CAROUSEL” because it turns manually as a real carousel.

La Mercanti provided also the furniture by La Palma: Mak stools, armchairs Cut and ottomans Kipu, all upholstered in Kvadrat fabric in the colors recalling the logo “Isko”. Other furniture instead is in Corten steel (rust effect) custom made.

La Mercanti, in collaboration with some specialized companies, realized also the plasterboard (walls and ceiling), in particular a special cast in plasterboard for the construction of the throat that housed the swivel clothes stand. We followed also the resin floor treatment, the painting of the walls, and the supply of lighting units by Deltalight.

It has been very exciting working on this project, because all together we realized the details chosen by the architect and the client.
To see the project on paper and render has been highly satisfying, a unique experience.

Recently we have been contacted by the Cambridge Trading and Service LLC, one of the leading retailer of furniture in Qatar, which asked for our partnership to furnish some offices of a major Governmental Authority in Qatar.

The project involved some VIP offices and the required products were: office desks, coffee tables and storage units, all with a simple and elegant style.

We proposed the Eos executive office desk by Las Mobili, as the design with thick worktops, the aluminum profiles in satin nickel and the precious wooden Cocoa finishes gave to the entire project all the characteristics and expectations required by the customer.

The Richard Mille LTD, is a well-known brand of high level watches. To be clear, a lot of watches have been designed for many F1 teams, drivers and managers, as Felipe Massa and Jean Todt, in addition to the known limited edition watch created for Roberto Mancini, and worn in the cooking by the famous chef Carlo Cracco.
We got in touch with the manager Angel Kam, Richard Mille’s headquarters in Hong Kong, who needed an Italian design office desk, with sporty lines and made with innovative materials. In fact, she chose straightaway the desk Luna by Uffix, designed by the famous Italian designer Pininfarina.

The customer expressed his satisfaction for our efficient service from the order to delivery.

His new executive office is composed by a black ash executive desk with a central leather insert and aluminum finishes, a pedestal with three drawers, a high cabinet and a service unit: all these elements in black ash to create an elegant sophisticated and harmonious environment.

La Mercanti provides its design furniture to MEKSA company, leader of the closure in Morocco, the only one to extrude PVC and aluminum profile in this country.

Our contact was Mr. Sabry Ziadi who selected the executive office Sestante by IFT with a modern and timeless Italian design.

The top and the leg of the desk is in black leather upholstery and the service element is painted black. He added also the service unit The Element by Uffix in walnut.

In this way he gave to the environment elegance, functionality and comfort.
