Ola by Martex, is a modern, prestigious and elegant desk design that furnishes the office space as the home space in a personal and original way.
In April 2009, in Prague, there was the sixth edition of International Fair PRAGOINTERIER, which was attended by the most famous Brand in the furniture design world. Here, Martex Office already received the prize New Design for Ola desk designed by Mario Mazzer. Now this home-office desk, in the “furniture” section, wins also the Goods Design Awards 2009, a prestigious and international prize.
Why these prizes?
The high level of the desk is the result of the particular shape and the value of materials. The strength of the elliptical shaped basement is further complemented by the 15 mm transparent crystal glass top with a black or white serigraphy printing. Round top in mdf white lacquered and Cristalplant base.
Executive office desk, Ola round table is also used as a meeting table and, many times, is required as dining table.
Anyone who has been a student at the university can understand how annoying can be listen to a lesson and get out continually of their seat gathering up their materials to permit to pass someone who wants to sit in the middle of row!
To solve this problem, the Indaco Department of the Milan Polytechnic in collaboration with the study center Lamm, conducted a research on the ergonomic aspects of lecture hall furnishings and was born Turner.
Turner is an innovative seat and table system that modifies the design approach to educational spaces, because it responds to functional, ergonomic and technical-performance needs, but above all to behavioral factors and grants greater freedom of movement.
Thanks to a sophisticated set of coordinated movements, using mechanisms for reclining and double rotation of the seats, it permits great flexibility of use because, to enter or leave a seat one moves along a transit space created behind the backs, without disturbing the other people, who can remain comfortably seated.
(…) This, dear friends, is what true joy consists in: it is feeling that our personal and community existence has been visited and filled by a great mystery, the mystery of God’s love. In order to rejoice we do not need things alone, but love and truth: we need a close God who warms our hearts and responds to our deepest expectations. This God is manifested in Jesus, born of the Virgin Mary.
(Pope Benedetto XVI)

There were experts, professors and entrepreneurs who wanted to combine their knowledge about business logistics and their professionalism. There was also La Mercanti: Andrea Bollettini

Smoove ASRV (Automated Storage & Retrivial Vehicle) is a shuttle that moves directly on shelving, integrated by tracks for sliding in both directions and is able to go and pick up, cash in and move independently and freely euro pallets weighing up to 1000 kg, without being connected to cables or constraints which can limit the operation.
Behind all there are some sophisticated software that allow the management, the planning and the control of all ASRV that are in the warehouse.
Smoove ASRV is the result of almost seven years of studies through the collaboration of university research centers, companies specialized in the design and implementation of systems for automation and control, and above all through the experience gained over decades of activities from the ICAM, in the design of intelligent warehouses and automatic archives.
La Mercanti is growing up day to day thanks to its innovation. It is using the power of the internet to expand the traditional Made in Italy office furniture business throught the World Wide Web.

In your office as in any space where you live, good lighting is essential.
Ideally you want as much natural daylight as possible. If your space has a window, it will enhance the lighting.
Daylight is the most evenly balanced source of white light available, in that sunlight has an approximately equal proportion of each color of the spectrum. The color of natural light also differs based on geographic location. It is always beneficial to have as much natural light as possible in the working area.
If in your office no daylight is available, a combination of general and task lighting will be required. A high-quality task light will be essential for late nights or cloudy days. If your office is in a room without windows, check out daylight-replicating light sources that will provide energy-efficient, full-spectrum lighting.
Many ergonomic task-lighting fixtures have dimmer switches so you can control the amount of light.
The most effective lighting brings out the fullest quality of the colors illuminated. If lighting levels are too low, there can be negative psychological effects, including depression.
For human comfort, a yellow-cast illumination is best. It is the color of brightness, and midway through the color progression from cool to warm.
To avoid glare, don’t place overhead lighting directly above computer screens, and don’t put a computer screen directly in front of a light source. That will cause eyestrain. Infact, overhead lighting and computer monitors just aren’t a great combination. Adding in a desk top lamp can do wonders to relieve eye strain and to create some additional warmth to a room that can typically feel cold and overly electronic. Some spaces work well with adjustable height task lamps, while others do great with more conventional styles. Try making the bottom of your lampshade just higher than the height of your monitor. It will go a long ways to producing the most light possible without overpowering your screen.
Energy guidelines are leading to new reduced-light levels in offices that are easier on the eyes. The most critical factor with lighting is the ability to control its brightness and intensity.

There’s a general trend in managerial furnishings?
The difference that exist in corporate cultures, company types, roles and responsibilities determine different models of the managerial office. In a more traditional setting it might be a closed room, but in many cases it is part of an open space as well. Naturally, the furnishings also vary, with prestigious solutions for a forceful image, recognizable design and a high level of finishes and materials, but also simple, functional ranges of products.
In many cases the closed office and its furnishings still have a traditional approach, concentrated on the “piece”, followed by a system of shelving and cabinets reflecting the same general concept.
Furnishings are not only a fundamental component for the functioning of a company, but also help to express its brand and its mission. In short, a low office should be very different from an advertising agency, just as the office of a technical firm will be very different from those of a fashion house. All this influences the design of managerial furnishings today.
For your managerial office you can choose between many kind of office furniture: the classic line as office collection Duca and Conte by DELLA ROVERE, a classic office collection handcrafted in solid wood, hand inlay work and natural finishes. A really “evergreen” furniture
Or the design line as design desk UNO and ZERO by DELLA ROVERE, where design, elegance and functionality characterise the new project which is distinguished by the use of materials which are absolutely original in the office furniture industry.
Meeting rooms can sometimes require a different kind of office chair than the chairs your employees are using. Your employees require comfort in an office chair that allows them to perform their jobs and remain productive.
In a meeting room setting you may want to invest in more formal office chairs to give a more professional look and feel to your conference rooms because your conference rooms is where you will be having meetings with customers and partners and a more professional look in those situations is much preferred over the casual look of an office chair that is designed for day long comfort.
