Doha: Al Udaid project
5Jul2010 Filed under: Projects Author: Marco OlivieriWe had a very nice and pleasant relationship with Ms. Ada Cuera, Marketing Coordinator for Linear Concepts: Interior Design and Consultancy firm based in Doha, Qatar.
La Mercanti worked on the Interior Design and Furniture Fit-out project for one of the Government offices in Qatar. In line with this, Ms. Ada has incorporated Martex Furniture to the design of the said project: Kyo desk and Ola meeting desk.
The shipment of the goods reached Doha in time and the italian office furniture were installed few weeks later

I visited the Kyo page and love the strong hues on the desk tops. The fact that Martex Office chose dark green for the executive furnishings is interesting. It’s always fun to read about the different meaning that colors have in different cultures. I just read a blog post over at Herman Miller that touched on why it’s important for furniture companies that operate on a global scale to understand what is conveyed to clients in each culture through their color choices.
