After many great years in Bangalore (since 1998), our local Indian partners and friends Rohan & Saira wish to announce their official opening at Gala # 25, Laxmi Wollen Mills Estate, Shakti Mills Lane, Mahalaxmi, Mumbai.

The Puja for good vibes and blessings and prosperity. The priest in white, Saira with the glasses, Rohan in blue and white t-shirt, Pierre (manager in Mumbai) in white shirt and black/grey pants, Kalpana with the very long hair is looking after the business development, the other lady and child is Pierre’s wife and daughter.

All the best! Wish I could be there 😉

The modern workspace

In June I entered for the first time in La Mercanti office for an employment interview.
My eyes were surprised and captivated by this innovative workspace. The different workstations: meeting-room, sales-room, planning-room and marketing manager-room, were divided by transparent partitions that with big windows made that environment luminous and functional thanks also to the complete harmony between the elements.

Now I work here, in these offices and everyday I can live better my job. Yes, because it’s really true that the evolution of the office reflects a change in ways of working. The open space office already widespread in American companies, helps to work like a team in a comfortable sitting.
Don’t you believe that a cosy and stimulating working space can benefit in terms of productivity?

Salone del Mobile – Milan

La Mercanti in Milan!

Alongside the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, now in its 48th edition, together with the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition this year will be Euroluce, the eagerly-awaited International Lighting Exhibition that sets the sectorial benchmark with its wide range and broad spectrum of goods that go to make up a unique lighting sector scenario embracing both technological and formal innovation.

The exhibition focused on twelve key areas where recent material developments have made a significant impact: eco-effectiveness, fiber reinforcement, security, sound absorption, foam alternatives, advances in molding, translucency, functional and decorative surfaces, advances in leathers, heat and the biopolymer revolution.

A highlight of the exhibition was a display of groundbreaking products that demonstrate an exceptional use of advanced materials and a clear commitment to the environment.

Easter 2009

Happy Easter!
Redemption is offered to us in the sense that we have been given hope, trustworthy hope, by virtue of which we can face our present: the present, even if it is arduous, can be lived and accepted if it leads toward a goal, if we can be sure of this goal, and if this goal is great enough to justify the effort of the journey.

The promise of Christ is not only a reality the we await, but a real presence.
