La Mercanti on Metropolis, US March issue

Metropolis is an USA monthly magazine about architecture and design, with a focus on sustainability. It is based in New York and has been published since 1981. With a national event series, print publications, and round-the-year digital coverage, Metropolis is building common ground for the A&D community.

La Mercanti ad in the March’s issue reflects the company business strategy in the North America market focusing the workplace interiors area with the Jera modern executive desk by Las Mobili. The name Jera recalls a Celtic era when essential and monolithic forms prevailed. The executive desk has been designed with an architectural approach. It is characterised by clever craftsmanship, found in the attention to detail, the original design in a pure made in Italy style. The project’s strength lies in its thick planes, joinery between planes and the vertical and horizontal overhangs.
