Mr. Rohan Jha from Woodville recently visited La Mercanti offices in San Benedetto del Tronto: we are very proud of this business relationship with Woodville since 1999 for the Indian market.
After various briefing on strategies and product trainings, we were visiting Italian furniture brands partner showroom at Cierre, Euromobil and Arper.
Good design is a synthesis of technique, cost, material, function, use, taste and sustainability. This is Arper: dining, meeting, working, waiting, lounging, eating in, gathering, outside.
Euromobil Group does not forget the centrality of the human dimension, as it makes products that express, in addition to practical reason, our desire for beauty.

During the furniture design week in Milan the new Mirra 2 by Herman Miller was presented by the designers Studio 7.5 to La Mercanti. The Mirra 2 ergonomic chair will be available next summer 2013.
As work evolves, and we become more active, flexing from individual to collaborative work in an instant, Mirra 2 moves with you, at one with your body. When you sit, Mirra 2 adapts to you instantly. Shift and it dynamically supports even your slightest movements. By rethinking every part of a successful design, we made Mirra 2 leaner, lighter, and so responsive it supports you wherever you go. Mirra 2 advances how you sit.
Given the agile ways people work today, we found the idea of a highly individualized personal chair is still valid. So Mirra 2 follows the same principles at the original design, with advancements to virtually every aspect. By inventing a method for merging a fabric layer with polymer veins Studio 7.5 developed an intelligent support structure called the Butterfly Back that makes the chair more responsive. The new seat design increases air flow. A reinvented Harmonic tilt creates a smooth and balanced feel when moving from one posture to another.
These advancements join the athletic attitude and intuitive adjustments of the original design to make Mirra 2 reassuringly familiar. It’s the same spirit in a new, trimmer body.

La Mercanti will visit Milan Furniture Fair “Salone Internazionale del Mobile” and “Milan Design Week“, the global benchmark home-office design exhibition. The show showcases the latest in furniture and design from Italy and other countries around the world, it is considered a leading venue for the display of new products by designers of furniture, lighting and other furnishings.
Artists and designers make the annual pilgrimage to Milan because of its universal appeal and above all for the quality of its global offer. It is important for different aspects: Economic impact, social influence, and academic value. It is an innovative choice to change the show from an exhibition of products to an exhibition of ideas.
Jean Nouvel will exhibit Project: offices for living, a project exploring potential ways to improve the architecture of offices, a number of different suggestions as to how office architecture will develop in the future.
The fact of the incarnation, this inconceivable Christian claim, has remained in history in its substance and entirety: a man who is God–who thus knows man–and whom man must follow if he is to have true knowledge of himself and all things. This initial experience has an unequivocal meaning: destiny has not left man alone. It is an event which was announced throughout the centuries and which reaches us even today. The real problem at hand is that man recognize it with love.

RED DOT DESIGN AWARD is the international prize issued by Red Dot Institute constituted by a jury of 37 design experts that rewards the best products and projects of the year.
Pedrali won the REDDOT DESIGN AWARD 2013 in the Product design category with three products: ARA armchair designed by Jorge Pensi Design Studio, MALMÖ armchair by Michele Cazzaniga, Simone Mandelli and Antonio Pagliarulo and NOA chair by Marc Sadler.
The victory of ARA and NOA chairs confirms the high design performance of Pedrali that celebrates its 50 years activity and its 25th attendance at Salone Internazionale del Mobile in the year 2013.
The RED DOT DESIGN AWARD 2013 ceremony takes place in Essen on 1st July and the winning products will be displayed at Red Dot Design Museum in Essen.
